I have paid my fees, can the Students' Union revoke the exclusion decision

I paid my fees before receiving the Final Exclusion Letter.

If you paid your fees in the pre-exclusion stages, you would need to speak to the university about returning access to your Blackboard. As we are not the University we are unable to revoke all the sanctions applied. We are unable to ask the university to be quicker in returning access. If you have missed any assessment deadlines during this period, we would suggest you speak to your programme team on next steps. If you are unable to reach your programme team, you could raise an enquiry on your Student Portal via the Ask4Help button.

I paid my fees after receiving the Final Exclusion Letter

Unfortunately, if you have received a Final Exclusion Letter you have been formally withdrawn by the University and would need to submit an appeal. Simply paying the fees after receiving this letter will not change the decision. Your only option to challenge the decision to withdraw you from the university is through an appeal and there are no other options.

Unfortunately, the Advice Team and the Students' Union overall do not have the powers to ask the University to disregard the decision to withdraw you from the university. As mentined above, even if you have since paid your fees, we are unable to reverse this.

For further information on appeals please see our guidance
